Tomorrow: 98-Pt Vintage LIMITED Oakville Reserve Cab From Screaming Eagle’s Neighbors!

You know those crazy limited small production Napa Cab deals from iconic vintages that come along like once every few years, and you kick yourself because you didn’t buy more when you had the chance? Well… prepare yourself, as it is upon us. Don’t let that be you!

This Reserve Cabernet is sourced from vineyards just across the street from Screaming Eagle. It hails from the Vintage of the Decade which got 98 Points from Mr. Parker. It is a combination of mostly Oakville juice with just enough Pritchard Hill added in to give it depth, power, elegance and opulence. To be honest, it is some of the same exact juice that goes into one of the most well-known Napa winery’s Reserve Cab… but we promised we would keep that a secret. Let’s just say the winery charges well over $100 for their Top Tier Cab… but for one day only, we are going to bring this extremely limited Reserve Oakville Cab to you for under $50 a Bottle by the Case!

Our Wine Express staff has tasted this bottle against some of the biggest, most expensive and best Napa Cabs around and, more often than not, it won the blind taste test!  It’s the kind of wine that is a powerhouse now, but will go the distance and evolve over the next decade and more. The downside is that there is just not that much of it. So when our Wine of the Day email goes out tomorrow, grab enough to enjoy some now, and lay some down in the cellar… you’ll be kicking yourself down the road if you don’t. If you aren’t already subscribed to our emails, you can register here to have great wine deals like this one delivered right to your inbox!

Update: It was the 29 & Oak 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, Oakville, Napa Valley! This is an upper echelon Napa Cab that we’re able to offer at Over 40% Off by the Case but don’t wait, it won’t be here long.

Cheers,

Josh Farrell, Wine Director
