Aerating red wine can help open it up to its fullest potential by allowing oxygen to spread throughout. You can aerate a young, tight, tannic wine to allow it to express itself more fully without having to age. But sometimes an aerator just isn’t handy or maybe you’ve yet to purchase one. If you’re a coffee aficionado you may actually own an aerator without realizing it! The same milk frother that you use for cappuccinos can make a brilliant red wine aerator. Just let the bubbles subside a bit before drinking!
Josh demonstrates in this quick video. Try it at home and let us know how it goes!
